Shed Your Tears Then Face Your Fears

Yesterday, February 18th, 2010, my best friend got her heart broken. Right after that I was inspired to write this. So of course, this is dedicated to her. I'm not going to disclose names.

Shed your tears then face your fears.

 

At some point nearly every girl says they will never cry over a boy.

And at some point nearly every girl does.

 

Ive shed my tears and faced my fears.

I dont waste time on jerks that make me cry.

Love should be carefree and without difficulty.

Love is a gift, Cherish it.

Dont take for granted the moments you share,

Dont go thru life without a care.

Caring is that heart and soul of love.

And love can be, for some, a reason.

A reason to strive and stay alive.

Your true love will find you.

And when it does, let it remind you,

 

There is hope and you're never alone.

Hope you like it :] Isn't it weird how we get so hurt by the ones we love but we still want them? And you think the heart break should just kill you right then and there but it doesnt. It keeps us alive to torture us...or maybe...teach us? Wow, lolz...That was random.

It reminds me a lot of what my grandmother used to tell me, that you shouldn't waste tears on someone who is not worth your love. At any case, it reads as a great inspirational though/message, not sure if it works as a poem per say... I like it.
