Halo of Calm

Halo of Calm

A Poem by Fran Marie

There'll be no more tears in Heaven above
nor heavy heart to bear
only angels spreading God's love
with tender loving care

There'll be no battles to fight
nor wars with blood to shed
only the blood of the Lamb of Light
as for our sins He bled

There'll be no reason to have any pain
nor worldly aches of grief
only the healing of God's reign
in His kingdom you'll find relief

There'll be no tears in Heaven's realm
nor hardships to face alone
only a soothing of heaven's halo of calm
in God's heavenly home.

VERY nice! I seldom find writing with a religious bent, and that is one of my favorite subjects.
My favorite line:There'll be no tears in Heaven's realm/
nor hardships to face alone".
Keep writing, and keep the faith.

Thanks angel ..so very much appreciated ..;
Love this Fran Marie. Our blessed hope. Ensured by the most high, for his son, when saying; you will not lose one. Seems impossible that anyone would turn away from the gift eternal life, which cannot be earned. Yet we each bear scars, from those who hide in darkness. Even those scars will fade away, and become naught.

Thanks Valormore, for reading & reviewing my poetry.. I do appreciate it..;
This reads almost like a prayer or some kind of incantation which extols the virtues of heaven and God, bringing reassurance to those whose faith may be tested.
In this sense it is a beautifully-woven and skilfully arranged piece of work, which puts across an image of purity and calm that almost makes you believe that such a place could exist... and it does certainly make you WANT to believe that such a place could exist...
