Pretend

Pretend

A Poem by Gabrielle Henry

And what color is the sky when the ocean bleeds?
Darling, so many questions left unanswered.
So many lies spit in our faces.
Let's dance until the night is over
remember to pretend we don't exist.

This is a great poem best one of that which I have read of yours ... it has so much deep meaning underneath the lines , it moves me and the last line speaking of how we prefer to sit in denial about things that truly matter ... it feels like a poem in motion ... keep writing and exploring Sister :)

I wouldn't mind it for a while myself. I love how concise this poem is yet filled beautifully with detail and meaning. Definitely enjoyed reading this
