Poem twelve.

Poem twelve.

A Chapter by Mimi

Stooped down low on the closet floor

I cover my ears to block out the sound

All I hear is her, knocking down the door

In she bursts with a deafening pound

“You stupid b***h, I know you’re in here!”

I hear her coming closer to me

My body trembles in fear

She punches me in the face and darkness is all I see
