![]() Happy PlaceA Poem by Nicholas Duboe![]() A poem about my happy place. Enjoy!![]() Happy Place The cover so crisp and held ever so gently, Reading about horrors from dark Gotham city, Each page is met with my wondering eyes, About a super man who shoots lasers and flies. Then onto the next taken out from the bin, A spectacular kid with a web to go spin, Then a suit made of iron to go save the day, And crazy things the merc. with a mouth did say. Walk into the store and no matter where you look, They got DC, Marvel and every comic book, Then I take a deep breath and I let it out slow, When it comes to "happy places" this is where I go. So whether yours is playing some frisbee in the park, Or chilling in that corner coffee house after dark, Mine is through these doors that I open up and stop, Smiling with delight at my local comic shop. © 2017 Nicholas DuboeAuthor's Note
