No Struggle, No Progress

Written as a spoken word piece

Too many talk but no one listens 

Not enough doin’ work, while too many wishin’ 

It’s all the same s**t, but different day

Same words, same complaints

But with no action comes no change

With no push, the swing stays still

With no air, the balloon never fills

The first step is the hardest

But I’m not saying the rest are easy

Just keep forward, keep on truckin’

Success is not for the weak and lazy

Take a risk for once, take that leap

If you don’t go, you’ll never know

If it feels right then why even fight?

I say just go with the flow

Because no one really knows

When the tank will run low

And it’s your time to go

Because life is a time bomb that keeps on tickin’

We know of it, but not how much time we missin’

So you just gotta do you and I’ll do me

Like Nike, just do it, if it makes you happy

Don’t over think it, never over-analyze

The open minded were always the most wise

Yeah, life is short but it don’t mean it’s not enough time

Quality not quantity is what you should live by..

s***s hot and real. alot of people pass spoken word poems by cause its not formed for text books but that could put thoughts into anyone when you feed it thru a mic, great poem.
