Valentines

Valentines

A Poem by Gee
"

Every day is valentines no matter what, be it sad, happy...

"
Tis the three six four that matter more
than the one with gifts and flowers,
tis the months and years that make a love
and not the seconds, minutes, hours....

This is so true, Gee. I feel like there is a good amount of people out in the world who only go out of their way to do something for their significant other on Valentines Day or their birthday. If the time someone shows special gifts/care to the person in when you're supposed to, you don't have a good evenly balanced relationship. Again, very true. Keep writing and stay safe.

You have put your big fat thumb on the reason I never married in all these 63 years . . . it's damn hard work to do those 364 days the way they need to be done & I didn't want to do a mockery of it! Doing the long haul is something I've always admired in others! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

How true Gee, how true. No good spending all year in discord and the pretending Valentine's day is something special and yet I bet it is that way for some. We are having a nice romantic lunch out at the Waterside in Benson. Hope you are doing something nice.

Well said Sir. The only ones that benefit are card shops, florists and restuaranteurs, rubbing their hands in glee at our gullibility at paying over the odds to keep up with those bloody Jones' yet again. You'd think we'd have learnt our lesson from the great santa rip off from only weeks ago.
Now if you'll excuse me, ive been guilt tripped into buying something for my work colleague... And her bloomin' mum!!! &!
Two poundland rings and two greggs yumyums coming up. 😀
