Something written laying on my back ....just taking in Gods handiwork

 

 

 

Amazng …Space

Amazing…. Sky

Amazing….Day

 

My time…

My moment…

As I just lay back …..and carpe’

 

I…. I-n-h-a-l-e  it

Till I taste it

Climb outside my self

Embrace it

 

Sunshine…….. like forever ….

And… forever……..Ever

Warms my face…

My belly

Like the perfect lover

 

Thinkin’ bout a bit of nothin’

A lil’ somethin’ BLUE

Borrowed from the very hands of God

 

BLUE….undefineable …blue

As far as I can …ever…imagine seeing

Or……..want to

A thousand hues…..dancin’ real close

 

“ Makes me wanna reach out ….and touch tomorrow”  ….kinda blue

delicate like powdered whispers

suspended softly from yesterday

 

It almost …..cools me

Just watchin’

 Perfect….

BLUE

Un….definable

Blow-my-mindable

Beautiful. Your really have a way of just reveling in the moment. You might want to add a bracket at the begining of your first tag for center, just look at the begning of the poem and you will see wat I mean. Once again, I must tell you, I love how you are able to suck people in. i really felt like I was laying on top of a sunny hill with a cool breeze blowing across my face, staring at the sky, just drinking it all in.

Excuse me please that I am reviewing this so late. But I am here, anyway. I do read.

this was sweet and your structure with the blue color was trully working for this poem. It was a feel-well poem, one what makes happy and the resulting feeling is making my day....I look out of my window and it is a blue sky. what a wonderful world. the sweetest things in life happen by coincidence and unexpected.

this makes me think of that line from the color purple where she says i think it pisses god off when people walk by the color purple and don't appreciate it ...

i love this description:

ahhh yea laid back as it gets! lol i like a lil laid back most of the time. i like the emphasis on BLE, cuz u obviously talkin bout the sky.. i could really feel ur appreciation.. loved it and my fav line had to be bout u reachin out n touchin tomorrow... NICE

Real sultry, real mellow, real flowful, real Hamptonesque. This peaceful piece is truly my kinda blue. Perhaps I'll save my second reading of it for when I get home and can pop my favorite Miles Davis (and all time) album in the CD player. As usual, beautifully done.
