And Then You Wait

And Then You Wait

A Poem by JE Falcon

There is always something

Lost in Translation

In those tender moments

Void of Libation.

Words uttered low

As if taken in tow

And you really do not know

If you should stay or you should go.

But, alas,

You say the words

Anyway

Then you waited

In utter silence.

Yes we do my friend. I want to say many things and I hold the silence. Less problems this way. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry. I did like this one.

And I am happy that you liked this --- a smile.
Apparently silence is not always golden. On the other hand, damned if you do, damned it you don't. Perhaps the best answer is to fill that moment void of libation. You may not be any better off, but then, you won't care.

The moment is sober. The question is sober. But the answer may be loaded. Maybe he should have had that drink. An interesting and quizzical write.

Mission accomplished. I enjoyed.
That's a big motzah ball to have hanging there! Assuming the muttered utterance is 'I love you'. Or perhaps 'will you marry me?'. You are towing me into your poetry with all these mysterious verses.

We can only dream.
and then the cows either come home or stay away...
we are much braver when we have a bit of drink in us.

Love the Addams family reference..."this is cousin It"..."who?" "no, not who, It!"
