Torn Open

I wrote this poem in high school.

Abandoned
Sounds and motions
Scenes now long forgotten
Intrigued by what lay in the center
A topsy-turvy rush
Excruciating pain and sudden panic
Terrified, torn open
Without faces or emotions
Destroyed her inside
Memories now remain
Scars left behind
Close enough to me to see
Who I am
