Drawing and Poem Three

Drawing and Poem Three

A Chapter by Natalie C and Gary H Collaborative Writings

Angelic angel robs a scythe of death
Flying through air, great dignity, so graceful
Wings flutter beautifully with love, peace
Content a great deed has been done
Saviour of spirit, survivor of souls
Now the world will always be as one.

Dark lord gathers for revenge
Faster, fitter, his energy reigns
Terror, destruction on all he names
Moving closer to the angel
Who neither sees or feels
Demonic fear brought down upon him.

No fate for either as they fight
Becoming as one, forgiving for none
Face lost of features, neither joy or pain
There cannot be a winner in this hard fought game
Together they venture to try to live
Until one who wins makes the other forgive.

i love how you start off on a good note about the angel then end it with an epic battle between good and evil, very creative and the drawing is so beautiful. gary what i love most about this poem is that you can clearly see the good but there is some hidden bad in the drawing and you showed it through your words. i applaude you both :)

I like the ending in this,it makes you want to sigh for them both because you just know that neither can ever win a battle fought through time this way. Never giving in, never forgiving, it will go on for an age. So well written, and a beautiful drawing. XX

Like the final verse best and the focus on how one or other will win...and then do battle of the forces at the end and then do for the broken forces. Either way no mercy!

How very true this is in one aspect, but another is that there are never really any winners in situations like this.

Well done and another great adaptation of Nat's drawing.

This totally reminded me of poem i did a while back that included angels and devils fighting furiously. For me, it is an endless battle. U guys captured the scene perfectly. Loved this one!

hmmm... this is a different sort...I liked it... with in the walls that are made there is a great lesson here...no one wins in competativeness...can't"make the other forgive" they have to do it on their own accord... forgiveness, love, and respect has to be earned and given freely not demanded. Games are always such a shame...the dark side never wins unless the people let it, fo rit has no real power except what we allow it to rob from us... again will ahve to come back to see the picture... cannot wiat.
