Yearning

Yearning

A Poem by Judy Ponceby

Deep within
is a yearning,
a feeling of need,
an ache of sorts.

And upon
examination
this need, ache
yearning
comes from
a deeply
held joy.

The knowledge
that in this
world there is one,
one who
knows me deeply,
cares for me,
loves me.

This is where
I hold the need
of him,
the desire
to be
with him.
The wanting of him.
My love and
yes, lust for him.
Deep in this yearning
needful ache.

This hits my heart.. I think we all wish we had that one someone that loved us body, mind and soul.... and when we do find them and the love is unattainable.. it makes you feel like the universe is mocking... ok enough about me lol.. I love the depth and love that you have in this piece..it truly will strike the hearts of many...x
