From the Shore

 

The moon reigned the night

and the stars were her diamond crown

 

shimmering

 

as slow waves

teased a gentle shore

and the wildflowers on the hill

gracefully swayed

 

The sand was soft under my toes

his breath was a whisper, warm on my cheek

we searched and found where tides had never roamed

where night had never dawned

 

He lifted me up and the crown became my own

 

….and the wildflowers gracefully swayed

Love the crown of stars. Although you lable this as a fantasy, I can easily see it playing out. The wilflowers ground it in an earthie reality of lovers. The stars above haloing from above.
