From the Shore

From the Shore

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a romantic fantasy ~

From the Shore

The moon reigned the night

and the stars were her diamond crown

shimmering

as slow waves

teased a gentle shore

and the wildflowers on the hill

gracefully swayed

The sand was soft under my toes

his breath was a whisper, warm on my cheek

we searched and found where tides had never roamed

where night had never dawned

He lifted me up and the crown became my own

….and the wildflowers gracefully swayed

~~~
I don't think you have a bone in your body that isn't romantic.
Everything you write is simply mesmerizing and inspiring.
And you have such a unique way of painting a picture with your words
that makes it easy for the reader to see into your fantasies and imagination.
I like the wildflowers.
Thank you for your kind words :) Julie
This fits perfectly with the blue moon that was hanging overhead. Your words put us right there at the shore watching the wildflowers swaying in the breeze. I love the wonderful images you have created and once again you touch every romantic bone in the body.
Beautiful,as usual,you have a gift few seem to possess.....I used to make the mistake of comparing mine to yours but that was depressing,I now just take it that some can,some can't but we all try
