For All Time

To feel your hands caught in my hair

as eyes lovingly meet

To catch your gaze then lose myself

in your tender heartbeat

To quiver at the light tingle

of breath against necks nape

To kiss sweet words from candy lips

until whispers escape…

 

In sighs of love, of want, of need

an unchained melody

Harmonious, like singing birds

floating above a sea

of tangled sheets and silky skin

so lovely when combined

As gracefully two become one

when gently intertwined

 

To find the warmth in your embrace

bodies held taut and tight

To softly melt in all that’s you

with only love in sight

To catch my breath and feel that stir

untamed and yet sublime

To ask how long I shall love you….

To answer…for all time
