As One

Inspired by a friend who see the truths and asks for naught

As I tilt my head 

right back to laugh 

I feel your breath

upon my soul 

no hiding behind

secrets veils

ready 

to be whole

letting go of 

all uncertainty 

vanquishing 

all fear 

acknowledging 

our freedoms

together 

far is near 

in the 

knowing 

you 

already know 

the thoughts 

pursed upon 

my lips 

I find no need 

to puppet dance 

as we take life 

in tiny sips

together in 

our unity 

bathing in 

the sun 

accepting we 

are both unique 

living life 

as one
