Cotton Candy (Written together with Richard Allen Beevor )

A Poem by KWP
"

another fun little get together with Richard .. hehe xx

"
I had a dream this morning,
we were at the fair,
you were full of cotton candy
even in your hair.

You always tell me of your dreams
Forever chasing after me
I do not care for you courting
Why can't you let me be

My heart is your candy
so sweet upon your lips
my hands caressed your body
and rested on your hips

Again you try the romance
Romance is not my thing
rest you hands where you like my friend
Watch my hands - cos they can sting

I bought you cotton candy
even gave you a red rose
but when i want a little kiss
all i get is a bloody nose

How can I say this nicely
I loathe you with distaste
now take your damn Cotton Candy
and please my time don't waste

alas my cotton candy
now scattered on the floor
my love my heart has broken
and thrown me out the door

my love lies with your brother
so strong and big and tall
instead of offering me cotton candy
he offers large body parts and all

Large! please don't make me laugh
his name in town is titch
you been playing with his parts?
but what about his itch!!

I say jealousy it is a curse
and one I do not find manly
I shall take the titch, his itch and fitch
but not take your rotten candy!

You had me laughing hard for sometime!!! Poor guy doesn't get a break..haha
That's a given when you have siblings with large body parts and all lol
Thank go for one thing: it is not all sweet gooeyness like cotton candy.. more of like a very sour berry
Nice job both of you. Thanks for not giving me diabetis. You both make some weirdly good duo.

dark humor, delivered with a tongue-in-cheek smile...

love the ending...the story is really cool, the game of tag between the two...come here come here come here then get away get away get away...maybe more like a tug of war of emotions.

good job you two.

hey Jacob thanks so much - it was fun xx
What can I say about it, almost a parody t'were it not pounding me with its corporal esteem...
I really enjoyed reading it, and am worried that if I don't egg you on I might not get another of the likes of it

I would like to give you a favorite line but I like all the lines and they seem crucial to the overarching message. But I like for instance "How can I say this nicely/I loathe you with distaste/" even though it's mean nothing short of my own demise makes me not like the loathing, which declarative statement cannot be true whatever, for once loathed what does it mean to not truly believe we are loathed, oh the loth but need, such rags...

et cetera, et cetera, et cetera....
