At the End of Every Breath

At the End of Every Breath

A Poem by KWP
"

reflecting on meditations

"

can i take your attention

if only for one moment

can I ask you

just to breathe

within your breath

follow it through

be it

feel it

see it

notice -

if you will

the stop

the gap

the break

at the end of every breath

at the end of every breath

see what it contains

nothing at all

and yet

it contains the

very reality

in which we all reside

connecting

the I

the you

the me

right through

to

the all

the nought

the all that’s sought

right there

the space

at the end of every breath

there lay

no illusion

no deception

no confusion

containing all

containing nothing

a continuance

of being

void of distraction

next time

you seek me

please come

find me there

at the end of every breath

thanks you for reading - much appreciated and lovely to meet you x
This gives me the introspection of one meditating atop a mountain top, breath, hold, exhale . . . allow the negative energy to flow outward; I’m ignorant in such matters of meditation, or modern yoga (fun to watch but ouch), but through readings, I can understand its fluid motion from psychical to psychological. I do wonder, being the second poem I’ve read, why the lack of caps, punctuation? I’ve seen many writers do this in poetry, and it’s always baffled me, because ‘with’ you can express so much more.

I love how you have been able to capture the physical sensations that one experiences through meditation. If it could contain the spiritual, I'd have been in total awe of you. Meditation is a practice that can release the suppressed from within. I love the imagery of 'at the end of every breath'.

Thank you for sharing. I absolutely adore this.

That's rejenuating! Every breath encompasses all that is between everything and nothing. The mystery, secret... all.
containing all
containing nothing
a continuance
of being
void of distraction

Brilliant! This has so much veracity behind it. Wow.
Loved it..

I really like the use of the title as the refrain and how the pauses that meditation brings comes at the end of a breath. Very nice image!

Thanks for reading Slammer 😄
The mix in here of romamticism and idealisms is something to behold. One could easily be sueded by intellectualism and question some of the intentionality behind the lines but that will only serve as to freeze the moment with unnecassary ignorance. So whats left? The musicality which carries the meaning through haroney melody and rhythm. Why not questioned it then? Becuase it would ruin the music! Of course so listen, listen carefully, silently and attentively and when you have dug deep within the mistery which is in you I might be right there , see? we are all seeking!

When I get there and that's a big if I hope to see you there we will shake hands.

Thankyou

Hey, are you trying to trick me into meditation!!??
This is well laid out, and beautifully expressed, opening up some lines of thought, contemplation, for the reader.
Nice work.
