No fall! No rise!!

No fall! No rise!!

A Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola
"

If you don't loose, you can never learn to win.

"
Life is a home for competition,
Everyone wants to be on top all.
They try to get up the tower without a ladder,
And fly without a wing to the top of the world.

Nobody wants to fall,
Everyone wants to rise.
How would a ball bounce up,
without touching the ground.

The harder a ball hit the ground,
The higher it moves towards the sky.
If you strike it with a gentle hand,
It'll only bounce a little high.

No success without failure,
No knowledge without mistake.
You can only acquire knowledge through learning,
And be wise through all its pain.

Trick are like an heavy plank,
Pushing up a tiny wire.
A little slip can let it down,
And return it to where it start.

The greatest eagle fell a thousand times,
Just to learn the way to fly.
Now it's wing is widely spread,
Flying up to tour the Sky.

Mountain rises from lowland,
Peak and sea base are once the same.
Once you fall, just rise again,
Or your life may fade away.

The meaning of this piece is excellent as it puts forward the view that in order to enjoy a successful life we must experience the lows as well. Does need some crafting over all though.

Yes, Thank you John.
I wrote it long time ago.
the metaphor with the ball is creative and graphic .. the theme is held throughout .. and clearly stated in poetic fashion .. life can be tough .. but is also our teacher .. taking risks can cause pain .. its the getting up thats important .. all sound wisdom says i .. quatrains are a solid hook to hang our ideas on .. you might experiment with more uniform rhythms and rhyming along with them ... challenging but fruitful :)

Mountains are difficult to climb, but what a wonderful view when you reach the summit. One step at a time. You have to learn to take life's knocks to truly appreciate the good times. Message conveyed well Kay.

'No fall! No Rise!'
Salisu Titilola,
This message is quite fitting. We will indeed as the bible saying goes,
'reap what we sow.' Whether it be from our actions in any area.
It is truly a fact that hard work and learning will bring about a better
end result than not. This is beautiful:
'The greatest eagle fell a thousand times,
Just to lean the way to fly.
Now it's wing is widely spread,
Flying up to tour the Sky.'
Lovely poem of purpose and hope with examples to live by.
Blessings,
Kathy
