The Girl Across The Street

The Girl Across The Street

A Poem by KeiseRaven
"

Serendipity

"
I stand beside the street waiting
With my umbrella up while rain is falling
My eyes wandered here and there
Across the street I can't help but stare
Across the street is a girl
With a blue dress and a shiny pearl
She stands there for quite a while
But she still knows how to smile
But she is too far, I shook my head
Thank God I'm far-sighted
Those eyes, those cheeks, alluring
Her hair, her smile, dazzling
Dazzling as it seems, I was lost in time
She was suddenly gone as the bus drove by
I guess it was just serendipity
As I was left there, still patiently waiting
