Slaughterhouse Five

I loved the book by Kurt Vonnegut of the same title. Which is why I'm using it here. This is not meant as any form of copyright infringement.

Inside the Slaughterhouse,
Five survivors are caged.
Food is low, but entertainment is high;
They watch the Walkers get gutted from feet to eyes.

They laugh in happiness.
But food is scarce.
Three weeks later,
Four are aware.

A week later,
Just three,
Blood is water and
Water is blood.

Two more days,
and three becomes two.
Now who shall be eaten,
Me?  Or you?

It's a fight to survive,
With death as the prize.
That is the story
Of the Slaughterhouse Five.

I'm always telling my friend that i would scarifice them if there was a zombie invasion and now you put it into words. I like the rhyming. It made it kind of up-beat for me even though this is a gruesome poem. Nice!

This story was kinda based off of Hostel.
