Prince Charming? No Thanks.

Prince Charming? No Thanks.

A Poem by LeDiisco
"

Dunno where this poem came from. Just started writing. One line was inspired by my cousin (told you I would give you credit)

"

Im giving you my heart.

But you had it from the start.

We can have our happy ending.

Where we each will play our part.

I am the princess, you are the prince,

Please save me from my castle.

Stepmothers, spells, evil witch

All this is a hassle.

Unrequited love,

For that is all I ask.

It is very simple,

Can you do that task?

We have our happy ending.

There is just one more thing to do.

Tell me that you love me,

And all you say is true.

I gave you all my romance.

I gave you all my lures.

All thats left to do,

Is tell me that im yours.

But still you do not talk.

You stand there in your silence.

We just fought a war,

But your not affected by the violence.

You toyed with me and lied,

But with me you still remain.

How do you expect me to stay

when all you cause is pain?

And i know ill never give myself to you

Never give you back my heart

So that you can have the pleasure

To take it all apart.

So with that I say goodbye.

You played an important role.

You taught me not to trust,

No one can fill this empty hole.

Please don't try to get me back.

This way I have learned to live.

I know you and the way you think.

You have nothing to give.

Im back in my castle happily.

The witch knew what was best.

She was only trying to protect me

From hurt and all the rest.

Turns out being alones quite lovely.

My company is my own.

If another prince comes by,

I wont take the path you've shown.

This was serious thought provoking work. You tell a story that gets right down to the heart of things. You taught us about life and how people become the people they are. I cant say enough about this work. It would make an amazing song.

"We just fought a war, But your not affected by the violence."

That's one of those things you read and wish you could take back in time and write first.
