Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Whiskurz

Dreams are grown by angels
And are planted in the spring
They put them under our pillows
And watch the joy they bring

Sometimes as we grow older
Our dreams can disappear
But the angels will remind us
When they whisper in our ear

A nightmare is a broken dream
That the angels cast aside
They grow much faster than other dreams
And burrow deep inside

Sometimes we have those falling dreams
But we never hit the ground
We're always caught by angel's wings
Before our death is found

And if you've often wondered
Can all our dreams come true
The angels only plant our dreams
The rest is up to you

This was a great poem. It was really nicely written. I also agree with it. The flow and the rhyming were in perfect sink with each other. Thanks for sharing.

I looooove this :) Those last two lines, such a great ending and so true! I am always fond of poems about angels in general, but this, well, this is so lovely.
