Such a seemingly simple and tempting request for a caring bard to undertake, Laurie. : )
But, a daunting task it could be to venture forth into with a poetess of your spiritual, mental, and emotional depths and complexities.
How appealing and originally creative it is, Laurie, the way you've taken to express the impact of "untruth" stirring so vividly real "before" you.
Seldom, one is privileged to find such powerfully expressed metaphoric depth and emotion in the scant economy of but fourteen poetically alluring words.
Ohhh, how I wish I possessed the power do all that!

I feel very fortunate to have such an appreciative soul interpreting my work. Inspiration for this piece came from power and control. Not many will see this, but I drew inspiration from technology as well. Ctrl, Alt, Del are the commands to essentially shut down a computer. I truly appreciate the warm review, my friend!

There is a right or wrong in interpreting what the author of a poem meant, as opposed to whatever the reader got out of it that is different from the author's, eh?
I am sooo guilty of this, but I am such a simple man, too, so it's expected of me to misunderstand so much; just read my poetry and see how easy is to get … LOL!

Sometimes it’s wonderful when someone can interrupt you belief patterns and thought process. Bringing information that when considered can change you a little, a lot, or none at all. But it has to be considered first. Loved it!
