Why Can't I Get Rid Of You

You stated all of this.

You took something I will forever miss.

I never had the guts to talk to you in the hall.

Just looking at you made me want to fall.

Why can't this school year just end!

Because you won't be there when the next one begins.

I think about this year at school,

And how I was such a fool!!

I'm just ready for you to be gone!

Why is Graduation taking so long!

I thought I wouldn't see you another day.

But they stuck you're picture in the f*****g hallway!!

WHY CANT I GET RID OF YOU!

There is only one thing I could do.

I put the gun to my head,                      

Now the memory of you....is dead.

great piece i really love your poems and how u use rhyme. it doesn't feel forced.

thats why high school sucks. if u date a high school sweetheart then break up then ur forced to seeing that person everyday. unlike the adult world its easy for us to ignore that person. but anyways this was a entertaining and fun piece

Wow, another great write from you! Which isn't a suprise! ;) I know exactly who you wrote this about too! I know what all you went through, even I had to deal with the pain sometimes too. Just knowing he ruined mine and your friendship up for awhile and losing our parents' trust for a long time too. It sucked for us. But you know maybe they do have that picture sticking up in the hallway, me and you will laugh and think of his ridiculous nicknames that we gave him! Haha :)

Thank you so much. And yeah he screwed up our lives... I changed so much last year because of him..lol I will never forget the day I found out they had his picture in that stupid halllway!! But as long as I dont have to see him in person I am fine (: tobad he only lives 5 min away from me :/
