Midnight Flowers

Midnight Flowers

A Poem by MOON

Don’t tell me I am not to dance amongst the midnight flowers

Walk away pretend the hours of winning your core is done

That it is my heart you shun and there is no April showers

In the brace of your hold so tight your heart can’t be won

When the door slams on this fiery sunset your presence end our hours

Still I remember that in your weakening love flowers

Don’t tell me there can be no beauty in the breaking dawn

In that quintessential moment in eternity I was born

Pleasure , always try to keep a sense of humour.
I can fee the auspicious moment of your birth.
Lovely work.
Stunning lines:
"Don’t tell me there can be no beauty in the breaking dawn
In that quintessential moment in eternity I was born"
Wish you a very Happy New Year!

A amazing poem. I don't like to be told what I can feel and see. It is good to dance with the midnight flowers and to wait for the breaking dawn. Life should be simple. Enjoy the free gifts of life and dance freely with the free flowers. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

I hope you a happy and successful 2014. Thank you.
I love it as is.. Pure magic.. It's your work, your journey and yet there's just enough there that allows me to make it mine. Thank you for the beauty...and insight..xo

Happy New Year Lily Mae , thanks for gracing my page , take care!
Hey Moon, this is different. I like it, but I think you can do more. The base expression is here, where you have wrought your work. Look at all of the words again. This is good and heartfelt, I think you can express more vividly, maybe it just hurts too much. I like several lines ,for instance, "That it is my heart you shun, there are no April showers" and "Still, I remember that in your weakening, love flowers."
Work with it, you have potential, it sucks that sometimes our potential and abilities is often tied to suffering.

Thank you, seasons greetings. Will stop by soon.
That willpower of the voice here!

Who can really tell us what is right or wrong? or who's weak or strong? or what's ugly or beautiful?
There's a norm but we have our hearts which determines what can hurt us, or can make us feel superior or behind another.
Do what you think is right (not what they think) and what can make you happy (without hurting others).

There's a song entitled Midnight Flower, and here's the refrain:
"Midnight flower
You got the power
(Do something with me)
Let me buy the things you do, darlin'
For just one hour"

Powerful and relevant piece.
