I am in the land of destruction

Love is blind, death is kind.

 

I am in the land of destruction, pain and disbelief.
I have seen my enemies,
my friends they claimed to be.

Heart on my sleeve,
I came forward and trusted and kept within,
my heart and soul.
Now I am at a place.. With no where else to go.

the stars shining down.
Tears that have been held,
now come flowing down.

Is there a place?
A will to fight within myself?
My heart.. Broken..
My soul.. Lost for none else..

In my mind I cry for help.
Yet my words are silent and stone cold,
like my heart it has been silenced.
No words come forth to shout.

So I stand..
Alone and bare..
Myself and my thoughts.
My heart on my sleeve.

Death has come and shown its face,
unto eyes deadened to all around.
I hear its call,
yet no other sound.

Arms held high..
Tears staining my cheeks..
I welcome my relief,
for it is now the life I shall ever know.

Breath..Slowing,
to a mere whisper of sounds.
Not a soul to hear,
not a caring memory to save me now.

And I pray...

Very painful and tragic, the feeling you are alone and
there's no one to turn to. But there is hope, a person
can pray, and that is good.

I like the imagery and the way you
get these sad emotions across with
your words.

This is heart wrenching to say the least I can feel the sense of lost here for it is familier to me Is there no one to see to feel to whom can I turn? finally we turn to the One who is always there, the One who carrys us when we need it yet we do not know that we are being carried!
