![]() Longing DesireA Poem by Manda
As we lay quietly on the couch
I felt his breath on my neck Strands of my long blonde hair Intertwined in his fingers The silence Was driving me into temptation How I longed for our lips To touch once again To feel the burning sensation As we made love to each other If only... I tilted my head So that I could see his face Our eyes Suddenly locked on one another Slowly he moved in And kissed me The kiss was so strong Almost like wild fire He pressed himself Against my chest I felt his fingers Gently unbuttoning my shirt Then he stopped And our kiss ended "Why'd you stop?" I asked sadly "Shhhhh..." He placed a finger on my lips to silence me He got up off the couch And cradled me in his arms "Where are we...." He stopped me before I could finish He walked up the stairs And into the spare bedroom He shut the door behind us And the rest was left a secret For what we did next Had been the desire I had longed for "I love you" Were the last words spoken behind closed doors © 2011 MandaReviews
