I often wonder about Winter's lover... Whom would it be? What would it take?
You paint a believable suggestion in this personification.

Beautiful imagery. The last half was My favorite with the whisper of forget-me-nots of spring. I can see the limbs full of snow despite the fact that here they are generally just nude.
Sooo enthralling, the gorgeous illustration, Kelly dearest.
Your taste invariably embraces something meaningful within.
Gorgeous title, hon … trees bowing their limbs graciously to her greatness sets such imagery only Springtime's breath could rival; then, what's she to do but take her cue on a grand entrance from such cooed enticements.
Considering "this", there is not doubting why I am ever redrawn to your pages, Kelly.

This is pure enchantment, dear Kelly. How I love when the seasons each come alive and show their beauty and wonder to us in elegant personification. Winter is dancing in your words. xo

And that is does. May winter's dreamish wishes whisper over you endlessly. :)
A lovely view of changes by mother nature. Her beauty has an evil edge so beware of approaching winter storms. Even as she wears her lovely white attire.

...thank you, Willard! Your kindness is much appreciated!
Beautifully evocative piece Kelly. All the little tastes and smells of winter, wrapped up perfectly with such a lovely ribbon and bow, in so few words.
Superb.

I am flattered you enjoyed it, Lorry...thank you so much!
Strange how the winter can pause the world but certainly not stagnantly...perception is the key I guess...Spring is not so easily forgotten and has a tender voice if we would hear it...a beautiful piece that is welcoming in the heart of a reader that is waiting for Spring to raise her head x

The contrast between the two are most engaging for us poets to capture! Thank you, Poppy!
As cold or desolate as winter may appear and linger, the promise of springtime lifts the heart to higher ground...the cycle of life enumerated. Seasons, wrapped in clothing all their own, shows nature's finest haberdashery.
Winter is just now making itself obvious here in the east (it is now 9 degrees here in Western Pennsylvania) so we are not quite yet listening for the spring birds out on the lawn, though such thoughts are not far away. A very nice piece of writing, Kelly. (Lovely piece of artwork also) take care...dan
