Alice

Alice

A Poem by Kate

Alice in a dress
Never wearing trousers
A Wrinkless face
The body full of flowers
The blue eyes
Curious brows
Knowing nil of
Pigmented skin
Her pale lips
Paralysed from dust
In mushroom cups
Her mind open wide
Playing cards
With the hands of time
In a tale of oddity
Without a pinch of propriety
