Why I write.!

No one knows the pain I have.

The days I lay down in the dirt.

The things I do for love sometimes it hurts.!

 

I write for a reason.

Not because its fun!

If writing is my life.

My life has been begun.!

 

I look a famous poets.

And say that could be me!

I've been around the world.

But yet writing is what I seek!

 

I sink into my writing.

Like a bar of soap sinks in water.

I know that if i keep goin.

It'll take me farther

 

Even though i am a dreamer.

My personalty stays the same

For me there's no worries.!

Because I win for playing the game.!

To be a poet is no lowly aim in life but rather the noblest of callings! For poets create beauty, they fashion a meaning from an existence that has none, they give voice to the mute, sight to the blind, and voice that which we cannot.

I applaud the honesty in this piece, you are unabashed in your ambitions and all the better for it! I applaud people who strive and never give one inch in retreat from their goal, such persons are most admirable - indeed they make the human species great. So to the subject of the piece I applaud you and wish you well in your aims.

The style is light, humorous almost, but never seeming at all like it is flighty or a welterweight work. No this work has some weight in it because of, I am sure, its integrity. The rhymes are good and do not appear forced and easily slip off the tongue of the reader, making it all the more enjoyable.
