My perception to this writing is someone in active addiction or depression.
Feeling like a zombie- close to no emotion.
I can relate.

Everyone has periods of extreme haze & you've described how this goes in a way that's familiar, yet also fresh & snappy. I love the unexpected way the haze clears, not what one might expect, but it makes sense. This poem inspires us to write in a way that twists the readers' expectations. I'm living in a thick smoky haze right now becuz there are wildfires burning all around me in the California wilderness! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This should be your come-back poem. Glad to see you after long time and a warm welcome to you.

It explains clearly what happens in summer to us. It also conveys that being carefree is good and laziness can too sometimes be enjoyed. Its inspiring short and beautiful read. Amazingly written and even though its short. It completes what it started. Great and appriciable

Thank you. Yah, being carefree is good:) Glad to hear you liked it.
almost like an out of body experience. This whole covid experience...
it is like being in a state of inertia...and never getting out of it...
maybe after awhile, even if we could, we may not want to...
it may become a part of us.

This whole thing since mid-March has been a surreal experience ... Time literally has slowed and merged into a blur of days that can only be identified by the weather it seems.
I'm sure that after a while, the sense of sameness who produce depression in anyone. Imagine if they are not able to express themselves through writing. Pity.
This is a great piece of writing Neetha.
Take care ... stay safe
