I think I'm going insane

I heard a voice last night it said
to go to sleep that he could
not get me there but I could
not sleep because every time
I do sleep I'm in hell because
hell and madness are in my mind
I told some one that once they
asked if I was insane and the
farther I go in my head I began
to question the same thing
and say "I think I'm going insane!"

i just was at play with words not to offend I was wondering what is the meaning behind the story what was the reason that caused you to write something so macabre and gruesome?

that's all and by saying not wanting to be cut up was to mean that i mean no ill intent maybe the way i came across seemed a bit cryptic does this seem like a reasonable answer if so i am glad if not then ask more on what it is that you wish to know more about
