Together Parted

Together Parted

A Poem by Neville
"

haiku format .. other than that, you decide..

"

Together Parted

Perfect pink petals parted

Strobe like light pulsing

Then together those waves hit

Well, depending on the poet's intent or the reader's interpretation, it could be haiku or senryu (I think). I'm thinking something erotic. A "flower" blooming in the parking lot of night club, two lovers flooding each other with... "love." Damn, that reads bad. Or, maybe a funky greenhouse with strobe lights and sprinklers. You may call me an idiot without offending me, Neville. The imagery is certainly brilliant, and the structure.

Roschach eroticism. What a concept. And in such a form. You should look at the paintings of Gergia O' Keefe. Or alternatively just the Little Shop of Horrors. Like it either way.

it is a poem about what ever you want it to be... thank you for taking a look...
Not sure what you were doing when you wrote this Nev...but I hope you weren't alone. The sensuality is overt and I suppose it could relate to two different scenarios...but I can only come up with one.

Nicely done.

Well, I'm no rocket surgeon Neville, but i think this has more than one meaning, other than being about smelling a pretty flower, but I'll need to go ask a growed up what it means because i have such a delicate and fragile little mind 😀

One word came to mind... which has several different meanings as well... scintillating... bright or stimulating. A perfectly pulsing parted poem.
