Oml! This poem is so amazing, clever and carefully designed. I can't begin to express how much I connect with the poem. It hit me so hard and made me remember about a guy some time back. The situation went something like this.. Where everyone was saying that to me as well as I was to myself.. 'you will get over it' is what I told myself again and again. I accepted one day, it is what it is.. That I am in love with the way he smirks at me, the way he holds my hand for shaking everyday but evidently holds it a little longer than other's, the way he touches my cheeks with his hands, my heart with his eyes, the times he handled me like no one would, he didn't wipe my tears but gave his shoulder to cry, he taught me tests are not weakness, he looked at me in ways I never bothered to look at myself.. And I was in love with him fir no reasons at all. I am one of his best friends still.. And he is someone 'SPECIAL' to Me.. SORRY to write it like this, but I got little emotional and could not stop myself.. It is the ultimate beauty of poetry where we randomly express stories others have lived... Bless you for sharing this, my dear.

I really loved the twist at the end! Fell for the bait haha. Personally I haven't seen any custom designed masks in person yet, but I know they're out there and some are incredibly wacky. Makes you appreciate a person's eyes though. Thanks for sharing!

Thank goodness face coverings don't mask the eyes. They are the mirrors of the soul. Now I have leopard print and polka dots. How are people gonna get friendly these days when their lips are stuck to a bit of cloth? Fun poem Neville.
