Mastication

Mastication

A Poem by Neville

Mastication

The first time she wore it

His shirt may well have

Swallowed her whole …

But the rest of her

He slowly and surely

Masticated and savoured …

A poem to get your teeth into. You know there has always been something really sensual about a woman wearing a man's shirt and nothing else. Of course this might be something else entirely. I remember our Beth wearing one of my husband's shirts when she was only four years old. She was swamped in it. She also had a pair of my heels on. Dressing up time. Whatever your memory is, I feel sure it is special and that is why you have poemed it.

Love how 'cheeky' you get at the end ;) But makes me wonder why it isn't the other way round. Lol pardon my weird thinking ;P

ahahahha ... you old goat you :)))))))))))))))))))) i didn't think "rude" at all sir .. just a rich, healthy savoring of something mysterious and wonderful .. when a woman wears her mans shirt ...it says something all by itself ... but you go and make it the tasting of fine wine .. i love it .. your scene and imaging well overcome the rough edges of the title ... tickles my heart and joy actually :)

........... You just put me write off my porridge sir :)
I liked it when my girlfriends would come to breakfast dressed in one of my flannel shirts...
Sexy...But more than that...I felt she was wearing the thought of me and that was as comforting as the cotton the shirt was made of.

I love how you equate the age-old habit of some women, wearing clothing of someone they crave as if the clothing itself will keep them cloaked in that person's essence . . . and then being chewed up & swallowed. That's a brilliant equation & you hammered it out without a calculator! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
