I know a little girl who could whistle

long before she had any teeth at all

Before she could talk or walk even ..

.

And that very same, brave little girl

is called Amelie who has just turned

four years old … and get this folks ..

.

In spite of absolutely everything this

old world has so far thrown at her ..

She keeps on smiling ..

Author's Note

the accompanying picture is of my little niece Amelie not long before surgery to remove the brain tumour in her cerebellum and she lost her hair and for a while, her sight, ability to swallow, walk, sleep and whistle .. like I said, please watch this space ..

Bless her little heart and her lovely smile. She has a great deal to contend with, a huge battle, but so many family and friends must be supporting and encouraging her with every little step she takes, with their ongoing love. She is a treasure and if love had anything to do with it, she will get through this ordeal. I will be watching this space for news of her.

If I could, I would give her my whole heart... imagine if each one of us could give her one day of their life... just imagine... she is a miracle alive, she is an Angel from heaven.
