To Write Love On Her Arms

This is for TWLOHA day, which is November 13th.

 

She writes about hate on her arms

Slowly, softly she takes the pain away

Deeper, deeper

Will she really do it this time?

No, not today

Old friends watch her as she walks by

Worry for the one they love written on their face

But she thinks no one loves her

No one cares, so why should she?

Then she saw what was written on their arms,

Their shirts

Love

She thinks it is for someone else

Until the name written underneath comes through the tears

Hers

She is loved

And the tears fall

The wounds heal

Now all she writes is love on her arms

I love TWLOHA! and i feel they are the greatest organization. I thought this poem described what they do so well. It was beautiful and even read it a second time. I could really envision this story in my head, like watching a very short movie. Well done! :)
