Bumble Bee Flowers

Bumble Bee Flowers

A Poem by Maddie

Bumble bee flowers, dipped in honey. Sweet and caressed with seeds of sky, growing downward, and leaping for strength. Two plants, as one, grow into a rose, beauty and love.
Young and innocent, blowing in the wind, free. Escape and paradise so lightly whispered from the petals lips, so soft and sweet. Living and the dead digging graves, but the flowers--oh no. They sit quietly and giggle, trembling at the sight of the other.
May time pass, and may it pass. May one look back to see deadened roots and twigs, petals turned to stone, its whispers silently screaming. But only to come back again, fresh buds and dipped in honey. Dripping in sadness, the flowers of bees cry, dipped in tears. Sadness. Woe. Honey. Sweet. Tears.
