Jonathan-Jew & Nikki-Nuku

Jonathan-Jew & Nikki-Nuku

A Story by David Field
"

Wrote this as a speech for my brothers wedding.

"

That’s right my friends, I’ve decided to dress

This decision didn’t come lightly and still don’t regress

Now my brother, I assure you, I’ll try to be nice

But I feel nothing less than the truth shall suffice

Love it or hate it, we’ll see in the end

But to all of you listeners, an ear now extend.

And sit right down so I can tell all of you

About this guy here, this JonathaJew

And how he fell in love with a Nikki-Nukku

Now this JonathaJew, As all of you knew

Was the Jewiest Jew, Through through and through.

He’d buy clothes that would gleam like the Glupity Gluck

And he go on and on about buying a big fancy truck

To the gym he’d go and improve on his mass

And he’d admire the results before any mirror or glass

He’d stand there flexing as the hours would pass

As he would check out his biceps, his pecks and his…face

But despite all of this, the Jew was quite lone

He had no one to help rack up the bill on his phone

After one girl would leave

Soon in would walk another

But then that one would go and he’d be back to mother

It seemed like no girl would stay with my brother

Now in the town of Cranbrack, a party did start

All the way from Kelownuzzle people did depart

And it was at this dance, my friends I do say

That a Nukku and a Jew met the first time that day

Together they were happy as happy as could be

Cause their future was as bright as a Phumpalumpy

The brightest old creature you ever could see

For within just a month, this couple did date

All the good time that they had I could never relate

But then again, maybe it isn’t as hard as I tout

Video games, road trips, nope…nothing left out

But you know that Nuku brought out all his best

Why this JonnithaJew became aware of the rest.

And his first act of charity, and of this there’s no shortage

Meal by meal he helped Thomas is pay Allegra’s mortgage

Oh and the years do go by and this couple will get old

But like many of you, they’ll never be cold

Like a Qwopity Hak and the Torimaguzzer

When times get rough they’ll be there for each other

And that everyone, is where our story does end

But from it a message, this Cat in the Hat does now send:

“Times wont always be easy,

but rest assured, you will enjoy life

Because my dear brother, you found a wonderful wife.”
