Break Away- Part 6

Break Away- Part 6

A Story by EmilyNixon.

We were finally at that meeting. It was so boring. They had so many students there. But, that isn't the worst part. That Tom kid kept turning around and looking at Luna the whole time. He was right in front of us. Luna was getting pretty aggravated by him and she finally snapped.

“Turn around.” she said looking at him. “No. You're not my mom.” He said smirking at her. I could tell that Luna was ready to slap him. “Turn around.” she said to him again. He still wouldn't listen to her. That spiky haired kid had to finally tell him something.

After the meeting was over, we had to go to our first class of the day. Fun! It took me forever though. Thank god I had my homeroom with Azure. It was civics. I wouldn't have been able to make it. In that class, they had those two boys that were laughing at that kid Tom. They were just staring at us. Well, mostly Azure really.

Time went by fast and the bell rang for us to go to our next class. I said bye to Azure and started to walk away. I looked down at my map as I was walking down the hallway. Then all of a sudden, it felt like I ran into a wall. It felt like I was in a car accident. Okay, maybe not that severe, but it did hurt, I had a headache after that. But anyway, it wasn't a wall. It was that spiky haired kid, Tom's brother. When I ran into him, my stuff went everywhere and I fell to the ground.

“Are you okay?” I heard a voice call out to me. At first I thought it was just my head, talking and rattling around, but it wasn't. When I opened my eyes, I saw Spiky looking down at me. Yeah, I know, I called him spiky! “Yeah, I'm okay.” I said as he helped me up along with my notebooks. “I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you like that.” he said. “You don't have to be sorry. I wasn't paying any attention to where I was walking.” I said as I looked at him. He smiled at me a little. “I'm Bill by the way.” “Oh, you're Tom's brother!” I said. “Yeah, unfortunately.” he said laughing. “Please tell me you are the oldest and more mature one.” I said laughing. “Actually, Tom is fifteen minutes older than me. But, I am the mature one.” “Oh, you two are fraternal twins?” I said. “No, we are identical.” “Oh, my bad. Well, thanks for helping me up. Ill see you around.” I said as I walked away.

“So, what class are you going to next?” Bill asked as he walked up by me. “I am going to Parenting.” I said “Oh, I am too. Is it alright if I can walk with you?” “No, not at all.” I said smiling. We walked down the hallway and into the classroom. Right when I walked in, I saw Luna. And next to her, was Tom. I could see this was going to be a fun hour.
