Ann

Ann

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

I ache.

"

Ann

Give me love again

for I will cherish it.

I will hold it dear

and kiss each breath.

Here I stand

naked in my grief.

Wishing,

just wishing

to feel you,

my only love,

once more.

I truly admire your style. It is quasi-modern, quasi-olden, but timeless and timely. Every girl, I am sure, wishes for their love to speak in such poetic and romantic way to them sincerely and lovingly.

I guess when you truly feel something it is difficult not to express it! Thank you Richard.
a lovely tribute for obviously someone very dear. I read you description and can relate to
someone so troubled that they take you kicking and screaming into dark places. What a
breath of fresh air a clear head can be..

well done,

Loss of love that cannot be revived is sad and leaves and empty heart. Very will written John. Lovely work. And of course your playing Norah in the background.

I spoke my friend Sonia yesterday - she spoke of meeting 2 years ago, ''the love of her life' but his alcohol dependency made it impossible for them to make a go of it. It killed me to hear that from her.
I never thought I could feel as sad again for a friend as I do right this minute John.
