Dancing in the Moonlight

Wrap your arms around me

as we glide across the floor

swaying to the music

with soul  and melodies pure.

Hold me close don’t falter

when my body melts and swoons

dancing beneath the stars so bright

by the light of a pale blue moon.

Kiss me tenderly on the lips

then whisper words so sweet.

Love me luv so gently as

we both dance

cheek to cheek.

The beauty of romance. Tender, patient, heartfelt; nothing vulgar, nothing rushed, and devoid of profanity.
I can hear the music of the night calling in your words.

Always welcome, dear poet.
This calls forth a tender image of two people deeply in love.
People dont dance cheek to cheek anymore. :(
A beautiful love poem.
