The Flower

Just a little ditty to help break my writer’s block…

If you were out walking
One day in the park
As the sun was slowly setting,
The sky getting dark
And saw a lonely flower,
Amongst tall intrusive weeds,
Would you bend down to pick it up
If it whispered “pretty please?”

I would leave the flower. Where I live. The wildflowers grow everywhere. Some folks don't like them. I like them. I even plant them in my yard. Hello dear Dara and thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
