Buds waiting

Buds waiting

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Misty rain and soft sunshine awaken love

"
Buds sprouting wings
flying over buttercups...
serenading early morning dawn
swooping down over the pond...

Baby ducks paddle between
waterlillies as nature's reverie falls
silently upon the earth...
Robin eggs burst with a tweet...

Hollyhock and lavender wait
for the spring dance to begin...
Bluebirds bow and tease the
ladies in waiting to scent the air...

Always my pleasure to read your words dear Pat and you are welcome..
You always paint a beautiful picture. Spring is definitely in the air. The humming birds are buzzing the roses, and the Joshua trees are sprouting here in the dessert. And soon the wild horses will be pitching woo with the mares

What an idyllic poem - you've painted such a lovely scene, Patricia! These hints of the year ahead are so inspiring, smile-making. 'Tis wonderful to gradually move from grey into light - you inspire the thought of it! Thank you.
