Husband and Wife

Husband and Wife

A Poem by Perdition
"

Just a little diddy

"

Don't look at me like that, I told you we should have taken a right.

“WHAT? WHAT?!!”

“No you didn’t…You, You know what, I'm not arguing with you.”

You know we're going to die out here tonight, right?

“FINE!! Getting lost with you is the most wonderful thing I've ever known"

So, you’re happy right now?

“Let me out!”

dying happy or just dying to get away...
those damn directions don't make any sense.
you transcribe this short conversation in the vein of Robert Creeley...one of my favorite
beat poets...
so cool, and it sure feels like a self-conversation...we do get so lost sometimes---there is no way in or out of love.
