Eyes hidden by grief

Masked by an overwhelming pain

Will it go away?

Ah.....grief, been there too, too many times. Your three little lines stir the soul. Keep writing! And keep the faith.....the pain passes, the love grows. It's okay to grieve. its okay to cry, its a process we need to go through. And to write about loss and grief and love - has always helped me. They say its good to talk...........talk on.....talk with your poetry!

Such kindness in your words..... thank you :o)
The eyes are mirrors of the soul that reflects the hidden within like sorrow or grief. Grief is a mental or spiritual bereavement due to loss of a loved one or loss of cherished things of value. But mainly for human beings . Hope diminishes grief but it will take time and support . In this write dear poetess you ask pertinent questions that encompass all the elements of grief in your brilliant , unique way...
Keep penning and hang in there ....:)

Sorry for the loss. You are welcome.
I think this is one of those question each individual will answer their own way for each pain... some pain will never go away or even deminish I think. We just learn to live with it and to live better knowing it. Some pain is temporary and that is a blessing all it's own.
Great picture and a good question.

I'm so glad you can feel that truth. claim it and look forward to that fact. I can tell your mind .. read more
Nothing lasts forever, no good or bad.
What goes up must come down.
Those down can rise out of the ashes.
All clouds have silver linings.

The brevity here is nice. Nothing minced, direct, powerful. Though few in words, the words fit together well, great selection utilized. For something so short, I like it a lot. Bravo.

Its in accordance to the individual some people die from the torment of pain others build momentum and gain strength as well as some live and let go nut never forget so many different thoughts and feelings come to light in us but the pain is there where if it shows to surface or hides in the shadows its there its just up to us how we handle it. the thing we want most is for it all to go away but if it comes to surface sometimes our eyes tend to overflow and our hearts mourn as always keep writing fellow writer.

I don't think it ever completely goes away. We just eventually put it in a little box. And it becomes more manageable. A poem we can all find a way to relate to. Thank you for sharing this

Grief is probably the worst pain we can go through mentally. The uncertainty of what's to come bears heavy weight on the heart. Nice writing.
