Essence...

 

Worth more, not to be

judged just by colour

For I am free to

Breathe the same air

Nothing to do with pallor

Not everything in life is fair

Put on this earth

for all to see

Ready to share with you

the whole of me

Born to exist

Not to be treated

Like scotch mist

Delve deeper and you will find

A wonderful and intriguing mind

Freedom of speech is a powerful tool

Think what you wish, nobody's Fool

Shining bright with radiance

Sharing life in abundance

Write these words with poise and grace

This is me this is my race

My roots are a necessity

It's who I am it's my identity

Without this I would have no existence

Unable to live from the purity of my essence....
