Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Rama Masri
"

Sometimes its better to be alone, nobody can hurt you.

"
The sound of silence speaks to me,
The room of darkness I can't see,
The feeling of loneliness I can feel.
Running Running I will be...
Running Running I will be...

Trapped in a box I had thought,
Seeking the help I had fought,
The reasons I had sought.
Running Running I will not...
Running Running I will not...

Death is coming for me,
Fear has found me!
Death is coming for me,
Fear has found me!

The sound of silence screamed at me,
The room of darkness surrounded me,
The feeling of loneliness has consumed me!
Death has caught me!
Death has caught me...

I opened my eyes only to see,
That death was there staring at me,
All I had to do was agree,
That someday I will find happiness within me...
That someday I will find happiness within me...

Nice poem. I hope happiness has been found.

I feel for you in this piece of poetry. Not only is this piece profoundly emotional, but it also holds a shattering denial of hope. Thoroughly enjoyed this :)) ~Correspondence

Social isolation is distinct from the experience of solitude, which is simply the state of being alone, usually by choice. Taking time to be alone can be a healthy, rejuvenating experience that allows us to reconnect with our own needs, goals, beliefs, values, and feelings. But too much solitude or feels socially isolated from others may develop feelings of loneliness, social anxiety, helplessness, or depression. This is what I take away from your write – a duality of interpretation! Very interesting and expressively emotional composition! :-)

In my days/years of living I have found that the idea of 'Isolation' can be very daunting. We have to find ways and means of keeping the mind occupied and in sync with the body. We have to seek ways of coming out of 'the box'. Profound write!

First, I trully hope this not about You, second Your last lines are the key my friend, You seem to know that no matter what the happiness comes from within us, sometimes we need isolation to gain more strength and faith, more peace at mind, away from the noises of the world and people, listening to our inner voice speaking to us, and we must learn how not to let ourselves being hurt by anyone, and it's very hard to do so, it's not a problem to be frustrated, negative and death thoughts, as long as we are aware of it, as long as we are willing to walk through it to a better place.

all the very best for You my friend.

You use repetition really well and delve into the subconscious.
All of what I'm a fan of . . .
