Word Flow

Word Flow

A Poem by Robin
"

Collaboration with Poppy Silver

"
count these words

inhale them out of time

and see where the rainbows shine

crystal runes upon an iridescent canvas

paint the path towards sedation

can you see the tears of liberation?

silver ringlets radiating from crescent smile

dawn lingering over deserts unseen

an oasis in onyx gleam

the moon sleeps as stars fill dreams

patiently they sit waiting

ethereal beings with eyes that shimmer

rustle of patterned wings into the rush of night

I wonder if they hear the sands speak

murmurs of the eternal heart

do they notice the tangible ache that shelters most?

velvet shadows

they whisper of the unblessing ~ numbness

only in their turmoil can we understand passion

and pain in seductive rainfall

the crimson flow pulsing through this chaotic maze

count these words

inhale them out of time

rainbow coloured

there has to be a way!

A very interesting piece... Highly imagistic, and words that trip off the tongue...I also get undertones of some kind of sensual relationship between these words.. I would like to have more punctuation maybe, or perhaps more of a coherent journey and purpose through the poem...but these are only personal style points of mine, and i re-iterate that this was a fantastic poem and well done x

good collaboration into the senses of being made by nature, you posses a crystal quality which in the right place and time can heal dark with timing...great piece

another golden Robin..they sigh and weave, visitors from the past, present, and future..tears of liberation fall crystallizing as golden flakes, precious, yielding, imperfect :)

My favorite lines: "I wonder if they hear the sands speak", and
"only in their turmoil can we understand passion
and pain in seductive rainfall". Awesome work you two!

Very surreal. It's almost like after I've read a couple times I've reached some sort of clarity I didn't have before. Awesome write!

Reminds me of a sometimes shaded river, calm, meandering, touching banks, resting seconds then momentarily gulping onwards. Have favourite phrases but won't embarrass one or other by quoting!
